This is a 석중석 or stone inside of a stone. My grandpa said these are hard to find. He explains what suseok is in this video here.

This specific rock was glued to its base by my grandpa. 

This base is made out of Japanese Pagodatree tree wood and was hand-carved. This stone measures 1" by 2".
